

Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Admiral Kirk gets the Enterprise back when an alien force
threatens the Earth, but the force isn't truly alien, and it
doesn't really want to kill, it is just looking for its home.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn
A training mission on the Enterprise is interupted by the return
of one of Kirk's old enemies, Kahn, returns and wants revenge,
and a new device that can create new planets. But when that
device went off, Spock must sacrifice himself to save the
Enterprise.

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Now it is the Enterprise's turn for sacrifices. When Spock's
katra is discovered in McCoy, the crew msut steal the Enterprise
and get Spock back to Vulcan, but the Genesis device brought
Spock back to life, and attracted the Klingons.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
The crew is called home to face charges for stealing the
Enterprise, but along the way, a mysterious probe appears
searching for humpback whales. So the crew must travel back
in time to find some.

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier The new Enterprise is a disaster, but is still called to service when a city on a "peaceful" planet is seized by terrorists. However, the leader of the movement turns out to be Spock's brother, who is on a mission to find God.

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
A Klingon moon explodes, and the Klingons turn to the Federation
for help. Before a peace treaty can be signed, however, the
Klingon Chancellor is killed and Kirk is arrested for the crime.
Spock must figure out what really happened and who really killed
the Chancellor.

Star Trek: Generations
Kirk dies while trying to save the new Enterprise from an energy
ribbon. 80 years later, Dr. Soran, who was saved by Kirk, is
obsessed with returning to the ribbon, and drags Picard with
him, but kills millions in the process. While there, Picard
finds Kirk, and the two leave together to stop Soran.

Star Trek: First Contact
The Borg return, and the Federation defeats them, once again.
But instead of admit defeat, they create a temporal anomaly
and travel back in time to prevent the first warp flight.
Without that flight, the humans won't meet the Vulcans and the
Federation will never form, and the Borg can waltz in and take
over.
Star Trek: Insurrection:
The Enterprise travels to a paradise planet and try to save it from being destroyed by an alliance between the Federation and the Son'a. While there, the crew finds themselves being made younger by the planet's unusual effects... a tribute to how far some will go to possess it's secrets.
